The number of requests related to computer security in Azerbaijan made up 343 in July 2021, Trend reports citing the report of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security of the Special State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, in the reporting month, almost 95 percent (326 requests) of the total number of requests were considered and satisfied. Besides, based on the information security audit, the CERT prepared and sent seven reports to the appropriate structures.
According to CERT data, 11 domains and 11 sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the Internet over the past month.
The total number of requests related to computer security in 2020 amounted to 4,989, of which 97 percent were considered and satisfied. During last year, on the basis of an audit on information security, 244 reports were prepared and sent to the appropriate structures.
In the Azerbaijani segment of the Internet, 50 domains and 155 sub-domains were registered last year, which are usually used by organizations to create unique site names for their divisions or services.
