The cost of manufactured produced equipment, optical products and electronics, as well as electronic equipment in Azerbaijan in 10M2021 increased by 14.2 percent compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the Committee, the cost of computer equipment and electronics produced during the specified period amounted to 175.6 million manats ($103 million). Of them, the share of computer equipment, optical products and electronics accounted for 46 million manats ($27 million), increasing by 5.5 percent, and the share of electronic equipment - 129.6 million manats ($76.2 million), increasing by 8.7 percent.
During the reporting period, the production of desktop computers increased by 4.4 times, the production of electric wires (up to 1,000 volts) increased by 2.2 times, the production of devices - by 68.4 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
In addition, the retail trade turnover of these products amounted to 321.2 million manats ($189 million), which is 29.2 percent more than 10M2020.
