VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) plans to launch an updated mobile application for corporate clients by the end of 2021, and in January 2022 - for individuals.

Currently, work is underway to launch the application on the iOS platform, and the most convenient and intuitive user interface will be implemented. Opportunities will be added in one click to issue a loan or deposit, pay for utilities and mobile services, TV services and internet providers, as well as make international money transfers.

In addition, was reported this week it that from 2022 the cost of a monthly subscription for Microsoft 365 products will grow by 20 percent.

It was also reported that revenues from mobile communications and information services in Azerbaijan in 11M2021 increased by 5.65 percent, or 113 million manat ($66.5 million) compared to the same period last year - up to more than 2.1 billion manat.

In addition, it was reported that the Lithuanian BS/2 will partially renew the ATM network of Azerbaijani banks, and also plans to present a counting and sorting machine for the first time in the Azerbaijani market.

It is expected that in the near future, within the framework of the ATM network development program for Azerbaijani banks, the company will start implementing this initiative.

Furthermore, AzInTelecom under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport plans to expand cooperation with startups and acceleration centers operating in Azerbaijan. It was noted that this step is aimed at developing the startup ecosystem and supporting successful startups in the incubation stage.
