About 193.2 million malicious links, more than 3.2 million malicious files, including 35.8 thousand malicious files were blocked by the sandbox system in the AzStateNet network in 2021, Trend reported via the Center for Combating Computer Incidents (CERT).
According to the CERT data, the state structures were protected from 744 attacks, as a result of manual analysis of targeted cyberattacks.
"The state agencies such as the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Executive Power of Shabran, Hajigabul and Lachin regions, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency, the State Oil Company were the most targeted for the cyberattacks during the specified period," CERT reports.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, 67.9 million malicious links were blocked in the AzStateNet network, 1.1 million malicious files were blocked by the centralized antivirus system, and 12.7 thousand malicious files were blocked by the sandbox system (the so-called sandbox).
