The revenues from mobile communication and information services in Azerbaijan increased by 10.6 percent or 18.8 million manat ($11.05 million) in January 2022 compared to January 2021 up to around 197 million manat ($115.9 million), the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend.
Some 83.7 million manat ($49.2 million) or 42.6 percent of the revenues, accounted for the telecommunications market (mobile communication operators).
Around 74.6 percent (146.7 million manat $86.3 million) out of the total volume of communication and information services accounted for the services rendered to the population.
More than 84.3 percent (165.7 million manat $97.5 million) of the revenues of the sector accounted for private enterprises.
