BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. Last week it became known that about 60 percent of non-cash payments fall on the share of e-commerce in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The share of non-cash payments in the total turnover with MasterCard cards exceeds 35 percent.
Also last week, it was reported that holders of MasterCard credit cards issued in Azerbaijan will be able to make installment payments in Turkiye in the near future. The implementation of this initiative will contribute to the growth of cross-border transactions between Turkiye and Azerbaijan and provide additional opportunities for tourists.
In addition, it became known that the number of requests in Azerbaijan related to computer security amounted to 2,287 from January through May 2022, of which 95.27 percent (2,179) were considered and satisfied. The computer incident response team prepared and sent 136 reports to the relevant structures during the reporting period, based on the information security audit.
In addition, it was reported that the number of blocked computer threats in Azerbaijan State Network (AzStateNet) network was 108,671.
The number of threats blocked based on URLs was 33,225, on Centralized Antivirus System - 17,627, on environment for the safe execution of computer programs - 57,819.
