BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Azerbaijan produced computer equipment and electronics worth 124.5 million manat ($73.2 million) from January through July 2022, which is higher by 5.15 percent or 6.1 million manat ($3.5 million) compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the report of Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, the production of computers, electronic and optical products in Azerbaijan increased in quantitative terms by 34.5 percent, and electrical equipment increased by 63.9 percent from January through July 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
The retail trade turnover of these products amounted to 283.6 million manat ($166.8 million) in the reporting period of 2022, which is 89.7 million manat ($52.7 million) or 46.26 percent more than in period from January to July 2022.
