BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. Last week, the possibility of using the KMS Lighthouse Knowledge Management System in Azerbaijan was discussed during implementation of the state project of the unified government knowledge management system, Trend reports.

DIS Group is the exclusive supplier of KMS Lighthouse solutions in Azerbaijan.

Since knowledge management is one of the key areas of digital transformation in Azerbaijan, this solution can increase the effectiveness of the state economic policy. KMS Lighthouse Knowledge Management System is designed to improve communication with customers, increase the efficiency of internal interaction and train new employees.

In addition, SIMA digital signature platform created by AzInTelecom LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan plans to implement the possibility of changing the data of the electric power consumer (subscriber) of Azerishig OJSC. It's already possible to apply online for the service of connecting a subscriber to the network of OJSC.

Also, last week the reports said the adoption of the law regulating the activity of payment systems and services will promote the development of financial organizations in Azerbaijan. For today the draft law about payment services and systems is of consideration by different state structures. It's expected that its adoption will create a basis for even greater security and reliability of payment systems in Azerbaijan, will serve to further development of payment services, organizations and operators of payment systems, as well as third-party service providers (provider of account information and intermediary services on payment transactions).

Moreover, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) always keeps in the center of attention the issue related to the possibilities for any foreign payment solutions and organizations to enter Azerbaijani market and in compliance with the national legislation of the country, forms a market environment with free competition conditions for all organizations. The CBA said that despite the fact that the UK Revolut fintech company plans to enter Azerbaijani market, there has not been a respective official request from it, as well as from PayPal. If final decisions are made, the CBA will provide additional information.
