BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 16. Commission-free money transfers from Türkiye to Azerbaijan have been launched through the Turan app, Trend reports via the Turkish ‘Turan Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi’ (Turan) financial company.

According to the company, the Turan application, for the first time outside of Türkiye, has become available in Azerbaijan. The app is available in Turkish, Azerbaijani, Uzbek, Turkmen, Russian and English languages.

Money transfers are easily made through the app, if both the sender and the receiver (even in different countries) have the Turan app. There are certain restrictions on the amount available for transfer as well as other small fees (including transferring funds to a client's bank account or a credit card).

According to the company’s founder and CEO of Turan Ozgur Bayraktar, the company aims to bring Türkiye economically closer to other Turkic-speaking states, with the help of Turan app.

"We are pleased to contribute to the development of cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan," he said.
