BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. The territories of Azerbaijan liberated from Armenian occupation, have been covered by the AzStateNet network (online domestic network of central, local state authorities), Tural Mammadov, Chief Information Security Officer at Special Communication and Information Security State Service of Azerbaijan, told Trend.
According to Mammadov, the Azstatenet network is already operational in liberated territories.
Moreover, the network is a set of geographically distributed networks and access servers belonging to organizations that have the status of a public authority.
He also said that via the electronic system for appeals, which was launched in 2014, 1,830 appeals from state institutions were received from January through March 2023 and appropriate security measures were taken.
"In the first quarter of 2023, 146 audit reports regarding gaps and shortcomings in the field of security identified through audits and monitoring of state information resources were prepared and sent to the relevant institutions along with recommendations. In addition, malicious content was found in 816,000 out of 7.839 million e-mails processed by the email system," Mammadov said.
