BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. Starlink and Azerbaijan are negotiating the launch of satellite Internet, Starlink Communications Manager Asnid Amir told Trend.
According to him, satellite coverage throughout Azerbaijan is already available.
"Work is currently underway to obtain a license to provide satellite Internet services. As soon as a general agreement is reached, we will be able to launch this service in Azerbaijan," he said.
The Azerbaijani Space Agency and the American corporation SpaceX signed a cooperation agreement on May 9. This cooperation will provide access to high-speed Internet even in the most remote areas of Azerbaijan.
