BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Baku Telephone Communications LLC (Baktelecom) will present an internet speed of 1 Gbit/s for the first time in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

Baktelecom, together with Nokia, has already created the necessary technical infrastructure and conducted appropriate tests on various devices.

Starlink and Azerbaijan are negotiating the launch of satellite Internet satellite coverage throughout Azerbaijan is already available.Work is currently underway to obtain a license to provide satellite Internet services. The Visegrád Group (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) intends to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of technology. Also this week, the discovery by Kaspersky Lab researchers of previously unknown malware that attacks devices with the iOS operating system. These are targeted attacks within the framework of the Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) campaign, which was called Operation Triangulation. The malware penetrates the victims' devices using an exploit delivered in a hidden iMessage (message), after that it is launched and gets full control over the device and user data. The attackers' goal is espionage.
