BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 29. The share of Android devices in the Azerbaijani operating system (OS) market in August 2023 was 58.77 percent, which is 3.3 percent less than in July, Trend reports.
According to the Global Stats statistical center, Microsoft's Windows operating system is in second place. During the month, its share in the Azerbaijani market increased by 4.18 percentage points to 23.48 percent.
Apple's iOS operating system is still in third place. During the month, its share in the local market decreased by 1.19 percentage points to 12.24 percent.
In addition, the share of Linux-based devices in the Azerbaijani market was 1.49 percent (a decrease of 0.04 percentage points over the month).
The list continues with less popular operating systems on the Azerbaijani market: macOS X (Apple) - 1.36 (growth for the month by 0.08 percentage points), other operating systems - 2.66 percent.
