BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 3. The revenues of Azercosmos OJSC from satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $3 million (to 45 countries) from January through February 2024, Trend reports.
According to Azerbaijan's Center for Analysis of Economic
Reforms and Communications, Azerkosmos OJSC's profits from service
exports accounted for 77 percent of overall revenues.
The OJSC exported satellite and communications services to Great
Britain (for $886,100), Luxembourg ($650,300), the UAE ($219,100),
Pakistan ($139,100), and Germany ($135,400) during the reporting
period, according to the Centre.
Azerkosmos OJSC's income from satellite and telecommunications
services was $19.8 million in 2023 (25.56 percent, or $6.8 million
less than in 2022). The OJSC exported satellite and
telecommunications services to the United Kingdom ($5.8 million),
Luxembourg ($4.1 million), the UAE ($1.6 million), Germany ($1
million), and Nigeria ($724,900).
To note, based on the results of 2022, the revenues of Azerkosmos OJSC from the provision of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $26.6 million.
