The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies is currently studying the terms for establishment of techno-parks in the country. Rufat Gulmammadov, the head of the Strategic Planning and Scientific Potential of the Communications Ministry, said that the relevant work was implemented jointly with the auditor companies.

В"Besides, we have received several proposals on the development of a business plansof the expected techno-park submitted by several countries including Turkey, China, UK,В" an official of the Ministry underlined.

Following the development of the business-plan and review of all proposals submitted by the interested sides in the face of local and foreign information technologies companies, scientific research institutes, state bodies, the appropriate documents will be presented to the government for reconsideration and final resolution.

Besides, earlier the head of the Information and Communications Technologies Department, Aflatun Mammadov, underlined that the Ministry was working over the establishment of a new draft law on techno-parks, which envisaged exact principles of establishment and development of techno-parks in the country and tax privileges in order to attract investors to the establishment of the facilities.

The funds acquired for the implementation of the project are still to be defined and it will be determined finally in the course of cooperation with different organizations.
