EBRD ADVISER TO GET FAMILIAR WITH IT-COMPANIES IN AZERBAIJAN

Frank Khannigan, the adviser of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the director of Irish Pathfinder International Partners Ltd., will arrive in Baku on Friday.

The key objective of the visit is to get familiar with the leading IT companies functioning in Azerbaijan and opportunities for establishment of business-incubators in this sphere, the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry told
Trend.

The visit is paid under the TAM (Tern Around Management) program of the EBRD, aimed at supporting potentially developing and open companies at the consultations of leading international specialists.

During his visit Khaning will hold meetings on possible cooperation in the Information Technologies Institute, and Communications and Information Technologies Ministry.

The project under the program is being currently carried out in Kyrgyzstan

“If the conditions and principles of the local IT companies are determined as profitable for establishment of business-incubators in this sphere during the visit, similar projects will be carried out in Azerbaijan,” the Communications Ministry said.
