The World Bank delegation is expected to visit Azerbaijan on 25 September in relation to the credit envisaged for development of post system.
The objective of the visit is to implement the technical stages within credit, the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry told Trend. “It is enlarged project envisaging announcement of 5-6 projects,” the Ministry noted.
All legal issues and procedures have been implemented. The WB is expected to present the first installment of the credit in October, but has not determined the amount.
The Ministry supposed that the funds would be presented stage by stage depending on the crediting project. The Azerpost state enterprise will get appropriate status to render financial and banking services after the implementation of the project. The Ministry plans to open 1000 new jobs within the project.
