COMMUNICATIONS MINISTRY PUTS $19.7M IN IT
The Communications and Information Technologies Ministry put 90.5bn manats or $19.7m in IT over January-September 2005. The funds were directed in reconstruction of communications objects, construction of new telephone lines both in the outskirts of the capital and the regions of the country, the Ministry told Trend .
As to the funds invested in separate enterprises over this period, the Ministry underlined that the figure comprised 44,731bn manats or $6,949m in Aztelekom, the Baku Telephon Communication - 37,093bn manats or over $8m, the Teleradio - 1,786,8m manats or $389,000, Azerpocht - 3,680bn manats or $801,200.
The Ministry plans to invest 96.5bn manats or $21m, render 670.1bn manats or $146m services in communication and transfer 100bn manats or $21,772m to the public budget.
