Money transfers by international Travellex system in the network of the Azerpost state enterprise began since October, the company’s development manager on the Eastern Europe of Travelex Money Transfer (United Kingdom) Lev Samsonov said, Trend reports.
According to him, 5 points exist already in the capital city, where money transfers are performed. The network extension for rendering services is planned till the year-end, the manager stressed.
Samsonov also noted, the company has the cooperation experience in Azerbaijan for one year by means of such banks as Nikoil, Bank Respublika, the Azerbaijan’s Bank of Micro-financing and recently connected to the system Bank of Baku.
В"Our last project in Azerbaijan is a joint business with the state enterprise Azerpost”, Samsonov said.
The agreement between Azerpost and the Travelex Group branch of the Travelex Money Transfer was signed in May 2005.
Travelex Group brought a new service system of money transfers Travelex to the market in 2003. The system is used in over 90 countries worldwide.
