Nakhchivan AR rendered communications services for 9,046m AZM

From January to October the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR)rendered 9,045,8m manats communications service to enterprises, organizations and the population, or 19.8% more as compared 2004. A total of 6,392,6m manats fell to the population, or 23.5% more as compared 2004, the Standing representation of Nakhchivan AR in Baku told Trend.

The representation office noted that over 1,000 telephone lines were laid in the republic.

Besides, the number of the employees of the communication enterprise in Nakhchivan AR comprised 1,000 people, or 12% more as compared 2004. Wages grew by 41% and comprised 572,200 manats (around $125).

5 new Automatic Telephone Stations were installed in the villages of the republic.
