The delegation of the Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry led by Minister Ali Abbasov will participate in the 35th meeting of the Board of Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) Communication Administrations Heads, Trend reports.
The Ministry noted that the event would be held in Tashkent from 22 to 23 May. On the same date the organization will stage the meeting of the CIS communication administrations and 9th meeting of the RCC Coordinating Council on informing.
RCC was established by the CIS communication administrations heads in Moscow on 17 December 1991. The goal of the organization is to carry out cooperation with new independent states in electric and postal communications on a voluntary basis, principles of mutual respect and sovereignty.
The high body of RCC is Board of Communication Administrations Heads functioning under the regulations. The Board makes decisions at the common consensus of the members.
From 17 December 1991Full members of RCC are as follows: the Communication Administration of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
