The Azerbaijani Communications Minister, Ali Abbasov has met with the French ambassador in Baku, Bernard Amodrique du Shafo, the Ministry `s press-release told Trend.
The ambassador has expressed his satisfaction with the development of IT technologies, conditions in the created in the country for the work of French companies Alkatel and SAGEM and development of French companies activity.
Abbasov has informed the ambassador on the latest reforms in the IT sector, including creating free economic zone in Azerbaijan and expressed interest in using French experience in that area. France has its own techno-park Sofia-Antipolis (second largest in the world after the Silicon Valley)
