Aztelekom operates to introduce CDMA services in Ganja

PA Aztelekom is preparing to introduce CDMA services in Ganja, PA officials told Trend. With this purpose, new CDMA equipment at $500k has been ordered.

In the future, the similar services will be available in Sheki, Gabala and other areas. PA is going to introduce CDMA in all regions of the country till the end of 2008.

At the moment CDMA are available to dwellers of Shemakha and Nakhchivan.

Touching the issue of Next Generation Network technology implementation in regions, in particular Shemakha Telecommunication Office, PA officials said that the tender has been announced on the matter. This technology has been introduced in Baku by PA Baki Telephone Rabitasi in late 2005.
