The work on terminological dictionary within MS Windows XP localization project are complete with Microsofts financial assistance, Trend reports quoting Elmir Velizadeh, head of information resources and technologies, Presidents Administration, who is also the project coordinator.
He said 2,145 words had been translated. 33 words are being worked on at the moment.

Microsoft announced the main phase of MS Windows XP localization for Azerbaijan in April 2006. The next stage is translation of Windows interface into Azeri and development of Language Interface Pack (LIP), using which enables work with full Azeri version of Windows. The works will be finished by the end of 2006.
