An Azerbaijani-Italian forum on information and telecommunication technologies is expected to be held in Baku, Ayaz Bayramov, the head of the department for international relations and work with non-state enterprises of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, told.
According to him, the conducting of the event is defined by the agreement on cooperation in the sphere of network secutiry signed in Roma by the governments of Azerbaijan and Italy with the visit of Azerbaijani minister of communications and information technologies Ali Abbasov. The visit was made in December of last year.
Bayramov stressed that in result of the talks held with the Foreign Ministry and Azerbaijan Embassy in Italy, the forum is implied to be held in 2007.
