Azercell РўРµlecom JSC has taken a next step to expand its roaming network, and stroke with a new international agreement in the field of GPRS and MMS roaming. The agreement was signed with the Polish mobile provider Centertel, Trend reports referring to a message spread by Azercell.
Up to date, Azercell has stroke with agreements in the field of GRPS and MMS roaming with 60 mobile operators from 30 countries.
Azercell Telecom JSC was established on January 19, 1996. The first founder of the company was Turkcell Д°letiЕџim Hizmetleri A.S. and the Azerbaijan Telecommunication Ministry. The company launched its activity on December 15, 1996 by offering mobile communication services to its subscribers on the basis of constant payment. In 1998, Azercell introduced the advance payment system the tariff plan SimSim, and starting from May, 2005, the company has launched the youth tariff plan - GancSim.
