The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan hopes in the near future to receive recommendations from Consultation Company Strategic Policy Research, Inc. (SPR) within the Agreement signed with United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), Trend reports quoting the Ministry.
We await the recommendations to be delivered to us till the end of February, the same source said. The pack of documents includes the recommendations regarding reforms and institutional change of the Ministry and its enterprises. The grant agreement had been signed in January 2005 by the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov and the U.S. Charge D'affaires to Baku, Jason Chilend. The grant amounts to nearly $735,000.
