Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr S. Babayeva / The Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan signed Memorandum of Understanding with two US Universities.
The documents were signed during the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation from the Ministry of Communications of Azerbaijan to the United States.
The Memorandum envisages co-operation with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the San Jose State University (SJSU).
The Memorandum provides exchange of experience, assistance in training specialists experienced in the IT sphere, implementation of joint projects, opportunities for the Azerbaijani students to study at the Universities on preferential terms.
In 2006 the analogue agreement was signed with the George Mason University of the USA.
