Азербайджан, Баку /корр. Trend С.Бабаева/ The Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is testing its new internet portal. The ministry announced the portal is available in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.
The portal is comprised of divisions titled Ministry, Telecom, IT and Mail. The website includes data on the current state of communications and information technology in the country, history of development of IT in Azerbaijan, projects, state programs and legislation base. A special section on delivery of use of its services is also available.
An interesting innovation of the portal is a subdivision titled 'Users' which offers available telephone numbers in the regions and the telecommunications junction of Baku and Azerbaijani districts.
The portal places links local private companies, joint ventures and some international organizations involved in the IT sector.
The ministry plans to hold a presentation of the new website in May.
