Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva / The program of the World Philatelist Exhibition, International Strategic Forum "Pochtovaya Troika- 2007" and UPU Regional Round Table on Strategy, to be held in St-Petersburg from the 19th to 21st of June, has been publicized .
The opening of the World Philatelist Exhibition is scheduled for the 19th of June and will be held with the participation of Ludmila Putina , Spouse to the President of the RF, Ilya Klebanov , plenipotentiary representative of the President in the North-West federal district, Valentina Matvienko , Governor of the city of St-Petersburg, Leonid Reimann , Minister for information technologies and communications and Chairman of Council of Heads of RCC Administrations, Edouard Dayan , General Director, Universal Postal Union , Joss Wolff, President of the International Philatelist Federation.
The forum will carry out its work in seven sessions:
-Future is evolution. Strategic choice or the natural development of the sector?
- Modern technologies providing for competitiveness of postal operator.
- Future is transformation. Knowing and understanding transformation principles and processes.
- Future is revolution. А Break-out of classical postal management principles and patterns.
- Postal operator - a reliable business partner.
- UPU Regional Round table on strategy.
- Summary of Forum.
Speakers to the forum are Igor Syrtsov , Director General, FSUE "Russian Post", Chairman, Strategic Planning Group, UPU, Gints Skodovs , Director General, Latvia Post, Laszlo Szivi , Magyar Posta , Deputy CEO, Gene Del Polito , President, Association for Postal Commerce, Mohamed Toufik Bessai , Director, Post and Telecommunication Authority, Algeria, Jean-Paul Forceville, Director of Regulatory and International Affairs, La Poste, France, and other senior officials of the post administrations from different countries. A delegation of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies will also be in attendance.
Azerbaijan will hold a presentation on the 21st of June during the RCC conference titled "Future Development of Post.' Novruz Mammadov , Head of Sector, Azerbaijani Ministry for Communication and information technologies, will deliver a report on 'Electronic dimension. New technologies - powerful tool for the development of modern services'. The presentation will include data on electronic money transfers, computerization, and the project on Development of Financial Services, implemented jointly with the World Bank with respect to upgrade the post network of Azerbaijan.
The forum is organized by the Post Administration of Russia, the Union of Russian Philatelists under the patronage of the International Philatelist Federation.
