Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / The first Azerbaijani-Israeli business forum on IT in Baku will be held with participation of ten Israeli companies, according to the Israeli Embassy to Azerbaijan.
The companies attending the business forum are FTS, MTS, Mailvision, Ceragon, Megabridge, Radwin, WAC (Wireless Applications Corp.), Gilat, Alvarion and Radvision.
A visit of the representatives of the companies will take place on 25-26 June and will be headed by the Business Development Manager of the Israeli Export and International Cooperation Institute, Corin Rotary.
A meeting with Azercell Telecom joint venture and Aztelekom production unity is scheduled for the first day of the visit. The issues of possible cooperation will be discussed at the meeting.
An expanded IT forum will be held on 26 June. Some 30 middle-sized and small IT enterprises have been invited to the forum.
The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Minister, Ali Abbasov, is expected to attend the official opening of the event.
