Azerbaijan Attends Conference of Communication Bodies
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The delegation of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan attended the 2nd Black Sea and Caspian Regulatory Conference in the field of communications in Istanbul. The Ministry informs that the delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies, Iltimas Mammadov.
The event was attended by the representatives of the Universal Postal Union, European Commission, U.S. Federal Communication Commission, specialists from Turkey, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia.
During the conference, presentations were made by the Head of Strategy and Policy Department of the Development Office of the Universal Postal Union, Mario Manievich, European Commission's Director for Media and Information Society, Bernd Langekh and other delegates who spoke of experience of regulating work in these organizations and countries.
From Azerbaijan, a presentation was made by the Head of the Communications Ministry's Regulation Department, Aliyar Tamirov, with regards to the situation of this sphere in Azerbaijan.
