Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Issues surrounding introducing the IT sphere into education were discussed by the working group within the project 'Devising recommendations for IT introduction in education'. The meeting covered the preparation of the project documents, Multimedia Centre reports.
Currently within various projects and State bodies, work is carried out in the sphere of education and there is a large demand for the existence of such documents and reports. Their absence will lead to several problems in future in preparing a State program. It was stated during the discussions that key goals and functions of IT introduction, financial bases, and expected results and directions of the project should be taken into consideration in preparing the document. International experience and practice within already realized projects need to be considered.
It was decided to discuss the first variant of the recommendations with the participation of the interested parties.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Ministry of Education, Asian Development Bank, AzNet project, IT companies, teachers, and independent experts.
The project 'Devising recommendations for IT introduction in education' is carried out on the base of the bid within the Education Development Project.
