Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva / The first stage of restructuring the State post office company Azerpocht of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, is completed.
In compliance with the new structure of the Company's Administration, 20 offices have been established at the State Company, with 70 % comprising of existing enterprises and 30% new enterprises rendering financial-bank services, Novruz Mammadov , the head of the mail section of the Ministry, said on 3 September. Three new committees have been established to deal with human resources, information technology and risk management.
The staff of the company must constitute 105 people. After selecting the personnel, there will be 20 vacant jobs, said Mammadov. Plans will be made to announce the vacancies in order to recruit the personnel. Generally, recruitment will most probably finish in October, Mammadov said.
The restructuring of Azerpocht is realized within the framework of a project to develop financial services, which stipulates the application of financial services in the post network of Azerbaijan by the end of 2007.
