Iran to hold int’l tender for mining projects

Iranian state-run Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) intends to hold an international tender to attract investors for mining exploration and utilization projects.

The exploratory blocks are as following:

- Blocks No. 1 and 9: Located in Fars Province

- Blocks No. 2, 10, 1, 12, 13 and 14: Located in Kerman Province

- Blocks No. 3, 4, 5, 6, 8: Located in the provinces of Kerman and Hormozgan

- Block No. 7: Located in the provinces of Kerman and Yazd

- Block No. 15: Located in Hormozgan Province

It should be noted that investors should have enough experience in exploration of mines with proven financial capabilities and also relevant technical knowhow and knowledge according to the terms and conditions envisioned in tender documents.

Since IMIDRO intends to admit investors in various exploratory zones, if applicants request to invest in more than one zone, their requests are accepted and studied thoroughly provided that their requests should not contradict with the instruction of transferring exploratory zones as stipulated in terms and conditions of tender documents.

All private sector investors, who are willing to participate in this tender are requested to refer to the following address for receiving tender documents after settling the amount of 10 million rials (each USD makes 35,000 rials) into the Acc. No. 0156035130, with SHABA Serial No. 450180000000000156035130 in favor of IMIDRO with TEJARAT BANK, Sepahbod Gharani Branch, Coded 170, no later than Dec. 16, 2017.
