The Government Trading Corporation of Iran (GTC), affiliated with the Agriculture Ministry, intends to purchase 45,000 tons of 10 percent M/L Indian 1121 sella rice, (in three separate cargoes of 15,000 MT 10 percent M/L each) through a single-stage international tender.
Cargoes will be shipped in three lots at three days interval during May and Jun, 2018 on CFR (cost and freight) basis.
All qualified companies and suppliers willing to bid, are invited to receive tender documents, along with an official letter of introduction, no later than March 6, 2018, from the Trades & Tender Committee located on the 4th Floor, GTC No. 2 building at No. 225, Fatemi Ave., Jahad Square, Tehran, Iran.
The bid participants are required to submit their stamped and sealed envelopes containing their offers before April 10, 2018 (13:00 local time) to the Tender Secretariat located on the 7th floor.
The bid’s envelope will be opened at April 10, 2018 by 14:30 in the presents of the bidder’s representative in GTC’s purchasing committee hall (9th floor, No 12, Jahad Square, Tehran, Iran).
Bid bond: 299,205 euros(13.73 billion rials) for each 15000 tons cargo, which may be deposited either by cash (in rials) or through an unconditional bank guarantee issued in euros by renowned Iranian bank located in Tehran, with three months validity and extendible for another three months.
Note: participants who wish to bid for more than one cargo are obliged to deposit the above mentioned bid bond for each extra shipment.
