The Culture and Tourism Ministry of Turkey in 2018 will allocate grants worth 6.184 million Turkish lira for the implementation of 155 projects, the ministry told Trend on March 19.
The ministry said the grants are being allocated to shoot 10 animated, 72 documentary and 29 short films, as well as create 44 scenarios.
"A grant of 230,000 liras is being allocated for shooting animated films, 5.039 million liras - for documentaries and 407 million liras - for short films," the ministry said.
The ministry added that a grant of 508,000 liras is being allocated to create scenarios.
"It is expected that during the year, the grants for implementation of various projects will be increased," the ministry said.
