A new strategy for the development of tourism in Azerbaijan will be presented during the upcoming tourism summit, which will be held on October 18 in Baku, the head of the public relations department of the State Tourism Agency Kanan Guluzade told Trend.
There will also be a presentation of a new tourist project developed on the basis of Azerbaijan's strategic roadmap, Guluzade said.
"A new tourist brand of Azerbaijan, developed by one of the largest world companies, will be presented first in Baku and then in London. The tourist destination is considered one of the top priorities in Azerbaijan and the state pays tremendous attention to the development of this important area. To this end, closer to the end of 2018, the launch of the process of opening Azerbaijan's official tourist offices in different countries is expected," Guluzade said.
Presently, the State Agency, in accordance with the presidential decree, is also working on a concept for the development of the Basgal and Yanardag reserves.
"Similar concepts are being prepared for the other five reserves, which are under the jurisdiction of our agency," Guluzade added.
