The number of Kazakhs who visited Georgia during first six months of 2019 exceeded 33,000, which is over 13,000 more than in the same period of the last year, Trend reports with reference to Georgia National Tourism Administration.
Furthermore, Kazakhstan is fifth by the volume of visitors to Georgia among other countries.
Tourism has been actively developing in Georgia for a number of years now. Each year new hotels are opened in the country, and more people undergo training to become service personnel and guides.
In order to attract tourists, the government of Georgia plans to implement a number of projects. As reported, an amount of 51.9 million lari ($19.5 million) was allocated on these projects from the state budget.
