BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. As many as 193,416 foreigners visited Azerbaijan in July 2022, up by 131.2 percent compared to the same month of 2021, Trend reports citing the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From January through July 2022, 832,186 tourists visited Azerbaijan, which was twice the same period of 2021 (365,473).
Most of the foreigners visiting Azerbaijan in July 2022 were the citizens of Russia (60,200 people), Saudi Arabia (26,900 people), Türkiye (22,600 people), Iran (13,500 people), and Pakistan (7,300 people).
