Thirty-two flights have been delayed in Kazakhstan’s Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Nur-Sultan city, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.
Arrival of 17 flights is being delayed including flights of Air Astana, Qazaq Air, FlyArystan, SCAT, and LOT Polish (Poland) airline companies.
Departure of another 15 flights is being delayed due to the late arrival of the aircraft from other cities and bad weather conditions in the airport (gusts of wind reaching 20 meters a second): these are flights of Air Astana, Qazaq Air, Fly Arystan, LOT Polish, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and SCAT airline companies.
“Due to the strong gusts of wind (15 meters a second and more), the treatment of planes with de-icing liquid is not allowed,” the report said.
The airport itself continues operating in normal mode.
