Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan conclude agreement to increase car exports

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed an agreement on increase of export of cars jointly manufactured on Kazakh Saryarka-AvtoProm platform, to Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

The document envisages the use of Kazakhexport export insurance company's financial and insurance instruments to finance the export of cars to Uzbekistan.

Chairman of Uzavtosanoat company Shavkat Umurzakov and Chairman of KazakhExport company Ruslan Iskakov signed the cooperation agreement.

As reported, 766 cars of Chinese JAC S3 and JAC S5 brands manufactured in Kazakhstan will be delivered to the Uzbek market. The cost of the deal is $11.8 million.

In Kazakhstan, the JAC brand is represented by a wide dealer network in all major cities.

Established in 1964, China Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd (JAC) is China's leading automobile manufacturer of passenger and commercial vehicles.

At present, the company has a turnover of $6 billion. The company supplies cars to more than 120 countries around the world.
