Uzbekistan waiting to receive another Boeing Dreamliner

Uzbekistan will be receiving sixth Boeing 787 Dreamliner in February 2020, Trend reports via Uzbekistan Airways.

Today the airline's fleet consists of modern Boeing 767, Boeing 757, Airbus A320 and Airbus A320neo, Boeing 787 Dreamliner as well as cargo Boeing 767-300BCF,said the company.

A new era in the history of Uzbek airline development was opened by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev "On measures on cardinal improvement of civil aviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated 27 November 2018. According to this document, the National airline Uzbekistan Airways from November 1, 2019 continues its activity as a joint stock company - Uzbekistan Airways.

Starting from April of this year, Uzbekistan Airways will start operating regular flights to Munich, said the company.

Today, the airline's aircrafts regularly fly to more than 60 destinations in Europe, Asia and US and perform charter flights to all continents of the world. Only in the past two years new directions have been opened - to Mumbai, Vladivostok, Jakarta and Tbilisi, regular flights to Jeddah have been established.

For its achievements in the field of flight safety the airline was awarded diplomas and certificates of honor of the International Aviation Safety Fund, World Security Fund and Boeing Company.

The airline also entered the rating of the most successful airlines in the world on the quality of services provided by the audit of the rating agency SkyTrax (2013).

Since 2014, the airline is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and a member of the Association of Independent Tour Operators in the UK (AITO). As reported, flight attendants of Uzbek airline twice confirmed their professionalism at the international forum "SkyService", winning in 2018 and 2019.
