The volume of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles sold in Kazakhstan in Mar. 2020 amounted to 6,377 vehicles; of trucks, special vehicles and buses to 493 vehicles, which in total is 40 percent more compared to Mar. 2019, Trend reports with reference The Association of Kazakhstan Automobile Business.
The total number of vehicles sold in 1Q2020 amounted to 17,846 vehicles, which is 30 percent more compared to last year.
The greatest increase of sales was observed on Ravon cars. Thus, the number of Ravon cars sold during the reporting period was 1,873 cars compared to 10 vehicles in 1Q2019.
The list of most sold car brands in 1Q2020 includes Lada (3,539 cars, increase by 3.5 percent), Hyundai (3,094 cars, increase by 31.7 percent), Toyota (2,653 cars, decrease by 8.7 percent), Kia (1,924 cars, increase by 123 percent).
The list of most popular cars from January through March 2020 includes Lada Granta (1,628 cars), Ravon R3 Nexia (1,354 cars), Kia Rio (1,205 cars), Toyota Camry (1,159 cars), Hyundai Tucson (1,081 cars), Lada Vesta (937 cars), Hyundai Creta (683 cars), Hyundai Accent (560 cars), Ravon R4 (511 cars) и Lada Largus (510 cars).
