Tashkent Mechanical Plant JSC (TMZ) shipped products for export worth $888,680 for the period from January through May 18, 2020, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekistan Railways.
Of this amount, $785,540 account for spare parts for the cargo customs declaration, and $103,140 - for services under the Act of completion.
TMZ JSC also have orders under signed export contracts totaling $10.9 million including seven orders from China's Taly Aviation Technologies Corp ($4.8 million), three orders from Russia's Aviazapchast JSC ($3.9 million), Azerbaijan's Silk Way Airlines ($1.03 million), and Russia's Trading House TMZ LLC ($1.1 million), the report said.
“To date, work is underway to fulfill obligations under the above contracts. But due to the quarantine caused by the COVID-19 virus pandemic, customers are temporarily unable to receive the full amount of cargo. In the future, after removal of the quarantine, the products will be sent to customers in full,” the report said.
Tashkent Mechanical Plant JSC has identified a number of partner companies that are in the register of trusted suppliers of products for end consumers, the report said.
Major consumers of the plant are Ministry of Defense of India and Ministry of Defense of Algeria, the purchase for which is carried out through Aviazapchast JSC, a partner of the plant; China's Taly Aviation Technologies Corporation and Lingyun Science & Technology Group Co. Ltd.; and Russia's Trading House BMZ LLC, Aviation Equipment Services LLC and Volga-Dnepr Airlines LLC.
