New bus terminal to be built in Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz region

Turkmenistan’s Muhammet-Balkan local company will build new bus terminal in the country 's Dashoguz region, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

The bus terminal is being constructed as part of the state transformation programs, initiated by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. It will contribute to development of modern transport and communication infrastructure in the country's regions.

The bus terminal will house a waiting room, office space for drivers and staff, ticket offices, information service, a buffet, retail outlets, a room for women with kids, and it will be equipped with digital technologies and modern communication systems, which will ensure high-level passenger service. Parking lots that meet modern standards will also be created for buses and taxis.

The surrounding area will have lawns with coniferous and deciduous trees, flower beds, and paved roads.

The new passenger bus terminal will be fully operational in February 2022, said the report.

Muhammet-Balkan company won the international tender announced by the Turkmen Ministry of Construction and Architecture to build the facilities. It has experience in building such facilities. A bus terminal of international class, located along the Ashgabat-Dashoguz highway and constructed by the company, was commissioned in September 2014.

The company aims to use innovative technologies in the construction and provision of facilities with necessary materials, ensuring their reliability and creating the most favorable conditions for passengers.
