Slightly over 1.1 million passengers were transported by all types of vehicles in 2020 in Azerbaijan, which is 42.7 percent less than in 2019, Trend reports on Jan.14 referring to the data from the Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee.
The volume of passenger traffic in 2019 made up over 2.5 million, up by 2.7 percent year on year.
Some 188.6 million tons of cargo were transported by all types of vehicles in 2020, which is a decline of 19.8 percent compared to 2019.
The volume of cargo traffic by all modes of transport in 2019 amounted to 235.3 million tons, which is 2.2 percent more than the year before.
