As many as 12 facilities were put into operation in the Mehrabad port in Iran’s Tehran city today on Jan. 31, Trend reports citing Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
According to the report, a number of systems, terminals, aircraft garages and other facilities have been put into operation in the airport's control tower.
"In total, 2 trillion rials (about $47.6 million) was spent on these facilities," the report said.
As reported, in connection with the 42nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran (1979), various events are organized for 10 days, and a number of facilities are put into operation during these events.
