The positive changes between Iran, Turkey, Russia, and the three Caucasus countries would upgrade economic cooperation and transit and railway lines from the Persian Gulf to the Caspian Sea and from Aras river to the Mediterranean sea said Iranian Government Spokesman.

"The economic and cultural union would not only prevent any conflict in the region but would turn this vast region into a highway that connects East to the West. During Foreign Minister Javad Zarif's visit to this region all heads of states in the region have emphasized Iran's presence and its effective role in this region," said Ali Rabeie, Trend reports citing ISNA.

"It is a happy experience to see our neighbors in the southern Caucasus has moved from the zero-sum game and are ready to enter the win-win game this experience could repeat with our Persian Gulf neighbors. The president and foreign minister have reiterated this message during past years that in the age of security union, a neighbor phobia is over," he said.

Iranian Foreign Minister embarked on a regional tour to the Caucasus region visiting Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey and Georgia, and Armenia in a bid to hold multilateral negotiations.
