Iran declares volume of unloaded cargo in Fereidoonkenar port

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 3

A total of 8,270 tons of goods were unloaded at the Fereidoonkenar port in the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, 2,890 tons of goods were imported via this port over the reporting month.

“Within the 9th month, 5,370 tons of goods were unloaded in the Fereidoonkenar port for transit,” the statistics said.

Thus, 2,890 tons of essential products and 5,370 tons of oil products were unloaded at the port over the ninth month, the statistics said.

A total of 9.13 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020). Of this, 5.5 million tons were loaded and 3.62 million tons were unloaded.

Iran's Fereidoonkenar port is located on the 69 hectares of land. The port has two platforms and about 700,000 tons of goods can be loaded and unloaded in this port per year.
